The large amounts of data generated by observation systems cannot be transmitted by existing radio links.
To download these big size data in real time laser communication data link is designed and installed on a flying platform and its counterpart on a mobile ground station. Laser communication technology could increase the data rate by hundred of orders.
The main problem is that no one has been able to design a small-size optical system capable of delivering a focused laser beam to transmit the signal over long distance. Existing designs use weak optical systems while expanded laser beam dissipates energy in the space and is unable to provide a strong enough signal over longer distance.

Additionally project propose very high resolution visible light / short wave infrared (VS/SWIR) camera that provide ten times better optical resolution compare to other similar size cameras, “sees” clearly even through dense smoke and fog, which is impossible for observations in the visible range of the spectra.
