Our innovation is based on the use of voluminous plasma inside the waste water stream and has the potential to revolutionise waste water purification, bringing advanced technology to an industry dominated by solutions that were developed 50 or more years ago.
Our plasma UltraOxidation solution can be applied to POPs but also to more general waste water streams containing organic contaminants such as municipal and industrial waste water, landfill leachate, ballast and drinking water.
In the market, the UltraOxidation technology is complemented with our SuperOxidation solution, which was specifically developed to purify waste water streams contaminated with organic compounds of biological origin, such as landfill leachate and waste water streams from the food industry.
Our prototypes have already been validated in a relevant industrial environment and we are engaging with several clients in Europe and China. We are currently testing our solutions in one of the Scottish Water testing facilities as well as with a client in China. AcquaNovus has filed two patent applications, with more to follow.
